Kaminsky writes heartwarming farewell to Wisconsin

As if you needed even more proof that Frank Kaminsky is the type of guy you would call up after you have had a bad day, because you know he would have your back.

The 2015 Wooden Award winner penned a lengthy and sincere blog post as a swan song to his Wisconsin Badgers career, recounting his time rocking the red jersey and thanking family, friends and fans.

You might recall Wisco big man writing an adage to the masses extrapolating on his choice to stay in school another year instead of entering the NBA Draft. Clearly, Kaminsky likes to communicate with those who watch him play.

This year’s touching ode, aptly titled “On Wisconsin Forever” reflects on everyrthing from his recruitment up to the point at which he’ll graduate.

When reflecting on his freshman year, he refers to himself as “a frail kid with lofty dreams.” Pretty sure nobody is would put “Frank The Tank” and “frail” in the same sentence ever again.

The whole post is worth a read, whether you are Wisconsin faithful or not. It’s nice to know that the NBA won’t just be getting a great player, but a great role model.
