Take note ladies, the key to throwing then man in your life a killer birthday bash is is picking a dope theme and executing it to perfection. We all know the Kardashian-West Clan is infamous for hosting top notch events and it’s safe to say Kim has set the bar for wives everywhere.
On Monday, Kim rented out the Staple Center for hubby Kanye West’s 38th birthday. It cost a mere $110k.
The festivities featured an “East. vs. West” basketball game comprised of a star-studded crew including NBA stars John Wall, Russell Westbrook and musical artists Pusha T, Tyga and Justin Beiber. The teams were coached by Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Rapper 2 Chainz.
If that wasn’t enough, Grammy winner and homie John Legend sang the national anthem and the game was officiated by professional NBA referees and just to add a little team spirit a few of the Lakers cheer leaders were also in attendance.
Virtual well wishes were displayed on a customized jumbotron from Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal and Scotty Pippen. Sisters Khloe, Kourtney and Kylie were in attendance, as well as mom Kris and numerous friends.
Kim also had a construction crew break ground on a state of the art basketball court for their new home and surprised Mr West when they returned from the festivities.
Kudos to Kim for throwing a killer B-bash and bringing a huge smile to America’s favorite Grumpy Gus. Happy Birthday Yeezy!
