Fresh off of a Final Four appearance, Tom Izzo once again has a talented roster made up of shooters, pure athletes, solid rebounders and versatile talents. Eron Harris, who transferred to the Spartans from West Virginia and sat out last season, is a talented athletic shooter with strong capabilities of being Izzo’s best player in 2015.
Harris averaged 17.2 points per game in 2013-14 while shooting 86 percent from the free throw line, 44 percent from the field and 42 percent from downtown.
He has the chance to be a special player and in a recent video, Harris and teammate Gavin Schilling showed off their monster hops after a workout.
Schilling, a rising junior from Chicago, averaged 5.1 points per game and 3.8 rebounds last season. He is a rock in the paint and provides Michigan State with a physical presence that helps captivate a team.
Harris and Schilling may need to use these hops in transition or on alley-oops, but their improvement with come with stronger basketball IQ (not that they aren’t already smart) and execution
