Jim Harbaugh’s shirtless stunt wasn’t his craziest

Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is a very intense and energetic guy. We are constantly reminded of that, with one of the latest reminders coming in the form of a shirtless Harbaugh at one of Michigan’s many satellite camps.

The photos of a shirtless Harbaugh took social media by storm, but they also led to older stories coming out from Harbaugh’s former players.

Enter former San Francisco 49ers’ tight end Delanie Walker.

Walker shared a story of Harbaugh during a 49ers practice which makes his shirtless stunt seem tame. According to Walker, Harbaugh thinks that he is actually a player and that led to a practice where Harbaugh was the team’s No. 3 quarterback — helmet, pads and all.

“He dressed up in full gear and practiced the whole practice – pads, helmets, everything on. He had the whole uniform on,” Walker told the Tennessean. “We came out and said, “Who is that dude out there? And it was Jim Harbaugh. He had some old high top cleats on.

“He did pretty good. He just couldn’t throw the deep, deep pass.”

That is simply incredible.

Jim Harbaugh is the gift that keeps on giving. Let’s hope the crazy Harbaugh stories continue to come out.
