With the second overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers select…D’Angelo Russell.
Russell becomes just the third freshman to have averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game during his one season at Ohio State, joining Danny Ainge and Kenny Anderson. This pick may be a question mark for a lot of people, as the Lakers really needed a big man.

As a point guard, Russell dominated on the court for the Buckeyes last season. His relationship with Kobe Bryant is really going to determine how well he will do in the NBA.
