Nike, the leading innovator of uniforms for the NCAA, has just busted out their latest design for Michigan State University. So long are the days of the sheen and glossy looks for helmets, as Nike and the Spartans have collaborated for the new matte look.
The new home jerseys and helmets are outfitted with their signature dark green with the Spartan logo on the sides of the helmet. The new uniforms are simple in design with white lettering and numbering.
The white pants with green detail contrast the jerseys and the new matte helmets. The battle of the uniforms will be set for the Spartan’s first home game against the Oregon Ducks, who are notorious for their own uniforms, on Sept. 12.

These matte, pro-combat uniforms are a change from the bright green ones seasons ago. The alternate jerseys feature a bronze thick stripe with black underneath completing the shoulder. There is a Spartan/ Greecian bronze pattern detail on the black portion.
The alternate helmets are decked out with the same bronze, green and black coloring. The main portion of the helmet is bronze with a green Spartan and black detailing
These uniforms seem to be a hit and will most likely sell out soon so do not wait to pre-order as the season is upon us.
