Former Notre Dame guard Jerian Grant certainly kept busy at the NBA Draft last night. He was selected by the Washington Wizards with the 19th pick, only to be shipped to the Atlanta Hawks for Kelly Oubre. He was then flipped to the New York Knicks for Tim Hardaway Jr., but that was STILL only the beginning.
After being traded to the Knicks and once the draft was over, Grant got to hang out with rapper and Knicks fan 50 cent.
Well, that night went from happy to “OH MY GOD 50 CENT” fairly quickly, didn’t it? Not only is Grant about to start his NBA career with one of the most storied franchises in basketball history, but he also got to spend time with, arguably, one of the greatest rappers of all time.
Needless to say, it looks like Grant (who grew up in the DC area) is going to like New York quite a bit, and even more if he can succeed in bringing the Knicks back to prominence.
