2015 NBA Draft makes history for ESPN

||

The 2015 NBA Draft has left it’s mark on history.

According to ESPN, the telecast of the draft coverage averaged 3.7 million viewers and 2.4 rating, both new records for ESPN.

The draft was likely helped by the fact that teams like the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers were in the lottery, but there was also a very talented crop of players who can make an impact at the next level.

While no one will say that the NBA is coming anywhere close to approaching the NFL’s popularity, it is a positive sign that this year’s draft set records.

Now, we just have to wait for the start of the season.
