Fresno State shows off plan for stadium upgrades

You don’t have to be in a power five conference to receive a stadium upgrades. In some cases, you don’t even have to be that great that of team.

According to Keven McGuire of NBC Sports, the Fresno State Bulldogs are the next team in line to receive stadium upgrades. The school has put together an Athletics Master Plan. A plan that will involve new video boards, private suites, club boxes, replacing the playing surface, improving the access to the stadium and much more.

“When this is complete, I anticipate this will be the best facility in the Mountain West and with our support from the Red Wave, it will help us solidify our reputation going into the future that Bulldog Stadium is the toughest place to play in the conference,” Fresno State head coach Tim DeRuyter said.

Fresno State has a released a video showing some of the designs that can be seen below.

McGuire was also able to get a sneak peak at what the upgraded suites would like at Bulldog stadium.

These stadium upgrades will give Fresno State a leg up in recruiting and possibly entice some of the more talented players to come play for the Bulldogs.

This Fresno State squad might not be able to compete on the field with any of the teams from a power five conference, but stadium wise, they will be up there with the best.
