Denver University practice court damaged after flooding

Denver Pioneerss basketball team will be without their practice court for the foreseeable future, after a thunderstorm rolled through the area last week.

The Denver Post reports that the storm arrived during rush hour last Wednesday, causing flooding, hail and wind damage. The only way to describe the damage caused by the storm to Denver’s practice facility is that it caused a ripple or a warping of the floor right through the center of the basketball court.

As a result of the damage and flooding, the entire court will need to be replaced.

There is no word on how long it will take to replace the court at the Ritchie Center or how much the repairs will cost.
