Alabama’s Jake Coker throws with four-star recruit

As an elite high school athlete, you can expect to meet with a lot of the country’s top football programs. You are sometimes lucky enough to get the chance to hang out with some of the country’s top players.

That is what one Alabama recruit had the chance to do on Tuesday.

In a pretty cool video shared by College Spun, Alabama’s Jake Coker was seen throwing with class of 2017 quarterback recruit Jake Fromm. This was said to be a once in a lifetime experience as Fromm shared the video via Twitter.

Coker sat behind Blake Simms last season after the two battled for the starting position all summer. With the question of Alabama’s starting quarterback job still up in the air, Coker has a chance to see a lot of field time for the Crimson Tide.

Fromm is a four-star quarterback from Warner Robins, Georgia. He is currently ranked as the number nine pro-style quarterback in the country for his class and has offers from Kentucky, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Miami, and Nebraska among others.
