I never knew that revealing new uniforms could be so intriguing that more than 300,000 people would take the time to watch the live broadcast of the event on their computers. That is exactly what happened with Tennessee when they revealed their new partnership with Nike and showed off the uniforms that the teams will be wearing this season.
According to College Spun, about 330,000 people tuned into watch the unveiling of the new uniforms on Wednesday afternoon. You’d think that a lot of these people would have something better to do with their time at noon on hump day. Maybe they could be, oh I don’t know, eating lunch?
Nope, they decided to stay in their cubicles or sit naked in front of their laptops, whatever Tennessee fans do, and watch the “ceremony.” Tennessee reported the numbers via Twitter.

So you mean to tell me that more people watched the revealing of a football uniform than what watched Tennessee football on television last season? Oh, wait Volunteer football doesn’t show up on TV. Sorry, guys.
Whatever the case may be, the Tennessee uniforms still have that ugly orange glow to them, just with the famous Nike Swoosh next to the numbers. You can watch the uniforms hit the field on September 5 when Tennessee hosts Bowling Green.
