If you are planning on going to a West Virginia football game at Milan Puskar Stadium this season, you’re going to be in for a show as well as some color coordination.
According to NBC Sports, WVU announced that their homecoming game against Oklahoma State is going to be a Stripe-the-Stadium game.
Fans in certain sections will be asked to wear gold while other will be asked to wear blue. Mountaineer fans hope to see a victory for their team, like last year when they won 34-10 at OSU, as well as having an energized atmosphere.
Although not as exciting as striping the stadium, WVU will also be having a “Blue Out” against Texas and a “Gold Rush” against Maryland.
Fans will be asked to wear blue to the Texas game and gold to the Maryland game.
Not only will fans be treated to a football game when West Virginia takes on Georgia Southern during their home opener, but there will always be a firework show.
It seems that regardless which game Mountaineer fans chose to go to this season that they will be in for a treat. Hopefully the WVU football team can use these games to create energy and a winning atmosphere to improve upon their 7-6 record last season.
