Other than squaring off with a PAC-12 opponent, Baylor will forego the opener with California and premiere its 2016 season against Northwestern State. As for what’s on Cal’s dinner plate in 2016 will play host to the Texas Longhorns.

Last year, Cal’s field general, Jared Goff, passed for over 3,900 yards and 35 TD; whereas Baylor QB Bryce Petty launched the pigskin 270 times for over 3,800 yards and 29 TD (+6 rush TD).

Both institutions also feature explosive offenses as Cal amassed 59 points each against Washington and Oregon in 2014. Meanwhile, Baylor posted 70 points against Northwestern State and 61 against TCU in week 6.
