DeAndre Ayton, widely regarded as the number one basketball recruit for the class of 2017, apparently has a list of seven front-runners for his collegiate services, according to Scout.com’s Evan Daniels.
Daniels reported on Twitter on Tuesday that the 7-foot center from San Diego (CA) Balboa City School is considering a list that includes Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, San Diego State and Stanford.
Elite center DeAndre Ayton is currently looking Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, San Diego State & Stanford, a source told Scout.

While it’s still early in the process, and the list is almost certain to change, Kansas is regarded as the frontrunner,at least for now. Time will tell if Ayton will end up in Lawrence.
