Apparently party hats and goodie bags aren’t good enough for Krispy Kreme’s birthday.
As if National Doughnut Day wasn’t enough, the guru of the glazed treat is holding the ultimate giveaway this Friday, July 10. In honor of turning a whopping 78, they are giving patrons a dozen donuts, for under a dollar.

This certainly gives the ol’ birthday cake thing a makeover, doesn’t it?
It is awfully nice of Krispy Kreme to want to share its birthday with the masses in such a “sweet” way. Now we will wait to see if the doughnut-palooza causes gym memberships to skyrocket faster than on New Year’s Day.
