Just like in NBA 2K15, rankings play an increasingly important role in the college recruiting game, and five-star point guard Kobi Simmons knows the struggle.
The Georgia native is at the top of the pack as one of the top players and point guards in his Class of 2016 cohort. Before he plays with the Atlanta Celtics at the adidas Uprising Gauntlet Finale in Atlanta, Simmons has narrowed down his vast list down to six prospective schools.
Evan Daniels of Scout.com and Dan McDonald of Rivals.com haves reported that Simmons is considering Ohio State, Xavier, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Arizona, with scheduled visits to Kentucky and Xavier.
It is a good thing he still has options open to him, however, as many of his prospects have stacked or solid lineups at the guard positions.
Kentucky has three underclassmen guards in Tyler Ulis, Briscoe and Jamal Murphy, while Xavier has Remy Abell and Myles Davis.
But, it’s a good time to be a top-tier prospect.
