Gator mascots get new look

With lots of changes already going on at the University of Florida – both the football and basketball teams will have new head coaches this year – now it’s the mascots’ turn.

Both Albert and Alberta Gator will be sporting new lightweight costumes this season, but the changes don’t end with the new material.

According to SB Nation’s Alligator Army, Albert’s eyes have changed, and the old, block-F on his sweater has been replaced with an italicized version that UF is now using across the board to represent the Florida Gator brand.

Alberta took to her Twitter feed to show off her new look, as well.

Time to sound off, Gator fans. What do you think of the new looks for Albert and Alberta?
