Jordan Spieth’s caddie earns more than 159 PGA golfers

If you haven’t heard of Michael Greller, you should read up. You totally want to be this guy.

Why?

Because he’s living it up and making tons of bank as a caddie for PGA wunderkind Jordan Spieth.

Not too shabby considering that Greller was a sixth grade teacher just a couple years ago, and quit to be Spieth’s full-time caddie.

TotalFratMove.com reports via Business Insider that Spieth’s success has resulted in big dividends not just for himself but for Greller as well. Per the Business Insider story:

Caddies are traditionally paid 5% of the prize money for making a cut, 7% for finishing in the top 10, and 10% for winning a tournament according to Golf Digest’s “undercover pro.” If Spieth is using the same structure, his success on the golf course this season translates to a share of $866,534 for Greller. That would be enough for Greller to rank 93rd on the PGA Tour money list this season, ahead of 159 PGA Tour members.

There are 159 guys out there hucking sauce, and Greller is getting paid better to carry another guy’s clubs.

See? Told you you want to be in this guy’s shoes.
