Ronda Rousey’s dream fight is beating the crap out of Cyborg

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is next set to defend her title against undefeated challenger Bethe Correia on August 1 at UFC 190 in Brazil.

However, there is another Brazilian that is always on Rousey’s mind.

The biggest and most marketable fight in women’s mixed martial arts is a bout between Rousey and Invicta FC champion Cris Cyborg. Of course, Cyborg is a weight class above Rousey and that has led to some difficulty making the fight.

But, if Rousey is ever able to get her way, she would love to finish off her career by “beating the crap” out of the Brazilian.

“I have this idea in my mind that my final fight would be just beating the crap out of Cris ‘Cyborg,’ and then when Dana [White] puts the belt on me the last time, I could take it off and hand it back to him,” Rousey said, via MMAjunkie.com.

“But if she doesn’t step up, I can move on and do other things with my life. She’s the one who’s going to fall into obscurity without me.”

Every MMA fan would love to see Rousey and Cyborg doing battle.

Unfortunately, Rousey isn’t willing to go up a weight class and Cyborg hasn’t really shows a desire to come down. If it stays that way, one of the best fights in WMMA may never take place.

Hopefully, the hatred between the two women will be too much — or perhaps UFC president Dana White could sweeten the pot with a mega payday — or else we will miss out on what could be a historically significant bout.
