Jaden Newman is only 10 years old, but already has aspirations about becoming the first woman to play in the NBA. Given how she has played on the girls’ varsity basketball team at Orlando’s Downey Christian School, where father is the girls’ varsity coach since third grade and averaged 30.5 points, 9.2 assists and six steals per game for them last season, that goal could easily be achieved.
In a video on Bleacher Report, fans got a chance to know the icon-in-the-making.
Newman may only be 10, but has the work ethic of someone older and is definitely wise beyond her years. If this video makes people take notice of her early, we could be seeing her on an NBA court before long since this skillset is hard to ignore!
