Earlier today, it was reported that the University of Kentucky had to inform the NCAA of a self-violation after hip-hop artists Drake took pictures with Kentucky’s recruits during last season’s Big Blue Madness.
Kentucky ended up self-reporting Drake’s activities, which included “impermissible contact” between himself and three “potential-student-athletes.”
However, despite the violation, head coach John Calipari let everyone know that Drake is still welcomed in Lexington and at Wildcat events.
Just so everyone knows, my dear friend @Drake took pics with fans as well as a couple guys as as he was leaving the arena after Madness.

There are no issues with @Drake and UK, and Drake is and always will be a part of our Big Blue family. I hope to see him on campus soon.

Kentucky is coming off a 38-1 season and Final Four appearance. Their undefeated season fell short after losing to the Wisconsin Badgers, 71-64.
