That’s quite a lofty list, as each program runs a system in which Johnson could potentially star as a wide receiver.
Per 247 Sports’ Crystal Ball, the current favorite appears to be USC, where his father starred en route to becoming the first overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft and then playing 11 NFL seasons, ending his career with 814 receptions for 10,571 yards and 64 touchdowns in time with the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers.
Keyshawn Sr. also made three Pro Bowls and was on the Bucs team that won Super Bowl XXXVII.
If Johnson opts to follow in his father’s footsteps and play for Steve Sarkisian at USC, the sky will be the limit for him if he succeeds. Then again, that could be the case no matter where he decides to play.
Campus Sports will update Johnson’s decision as more information becomes available.
