There are plenty of reasons to love Georgia Bulldogs head football coach Mark Richt, and we can now add another one to the ever-growing list.
It all starts with Terry Barber, a longtime Bulldogs fan who recently passed away after battling cancer. Richt never knew Barber, nor anyone in the Barber family, but still took the time to write a letter to Barber’s son expressing his sympathies.

In all seriousness, how many other coaches take the time out of their busy schedules to pen such heartfelt letters? Richt has always been a model of hard work, classiness and more in his many years with the Bulldogs, and this letter is simply him continuing his practice of those values.
Campus Sports sends its best to the Barber family.
Georgia opens the season at home against UL-Monroe on September 5.
