Columbia star Michael Porter has attention of Mizzou, KU

You will soon hear the name Michael Porter when discussing the next highly talented recruit in college basketball.

Porter is the number one ranked small forward in the 2017 class and has an offer from just about every college out there. He stands 6ft-9 and has the ability to get to the rim anytime he wants too.

According to Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star, the in-state recruiting battle is starting to heat up between the Kansas Jayhawks and the Missouri Tigers. Porter is said to be high on the Jayhawks, but nothing is ever certain in the world of recruiting.

His father, Michael Sr., is actually an assisant women’s coach at Missouri which will surely make things interesting when it comes time to make a decision.

Coach John Calipari is also said to be after Porter and can never be counted out after he makes an offer.

For now, college basketball fans will have to result to searching for Michael Porter online to find tape of his games.

Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
