Three MLB organizations deliberated over 24 hours the careers of 13 players and have approached a final solution that dealt Marlins teammates Mat Latos and Michael Morse to the Dodgers, as well as other conditions, which are outlined below.
Per Ken Rosenthal, here’s the breakdown of the multi-team, multi-player trade (via NBC Sports):
To the Dodgers: Starter Mat Latos and first baseman Michael Morse from the Marlins and starter Alex Wood, relievers Jim Johnson and Luis Avilan, and infield prospect Jose Peraza and pitcher Bronson Arroyo
To the Braves: Infielder Hector Olivera, left-handed reliever Paco Rodriguez, and minor league pitcher Zachary Bird from the Dodgers and Miami’s 2016 Competitive Balance Draft pick (34th overall)
To the Marlins: Minor league pitchers Kevin Guzman, Jeff Brigham and Victor Araujo as well as cash.
Initially, the deal was solely between the Dodgers and Marlins, but Atlanta pitched in some prospects and other valuables, in which redirected the trade into a 24-hour stalemate.
Speculators of this trade posted their annoyance with the trade’s duration, including Mat Latos’ wife:

Eric Stephen, contributing writer for True Blue LA, commented on the $65 million prospect, Hector Olivera, and the rest of the Dodgers’ acquisitions:
“None of the four minor leaguers given up by the Dodgers are too highly ranked (more on them later), so the Dodgers essentially paid $45 million to acquire two starting pitchers, two relievers, including one of each they can keep well beyond 2015, plus an infield prospect in Peraza who was ranked the 26th-best prospect in baseball at midseason by Baseball America.”
