Mike Riley wants Huskers to remember trash talk

The award for best trash talk at Big Ten Media days goes to Wisconsin running back Corey Clement.

Clement is the new kid on the block, but is supposed to burst onto the scene and become the Badgers next great running back.

Yesterday, Clement’s told John Gaskins of 93.7 the Ticket in Lincoln, the Badgers are like the cool trendy iphone while rival Nebraska is like an old flip-phone.

On Friday, new Nebraska Head Coach Mike Riley addressed the comment and thinks his team will “latch onto” the statement this season.

Off-season trash talk is always fun, especially when the head coach addresses it.

Riley is facing a tall task in returning the Huskers back to college football glory. Over the past few seasons Nebraska has been very inconsistent and incapable of living up to the pre-season hype they have received.

The Huskers will get their chance to silence Clement and the Badgers come October 10th. It should be fun to watch.
