Hip-hop star and Kentucky Wildcats fan Drake and fellow rapper Meek Mill are feuding over the rumor that Drake has ghostwriters, and Wildcats head coach John Calipari recently weighed in.
Oddly enough, as was reported by Kyle Tucker of the Courier-Journal and John Lewis of Louisville’s WDRB 41, the Hall of Famer’s response was short. Why? Well, apparently Coach Cal has no idea what a rap beef actually IS.
Cal on rap beef: "Drake's our man." (He did not know what a rap beef was.)

Cal asked about Drake-Meek Mill beef. Gotta love summer camps.

Cal did answer: "Drake's our man."

Well, folks, there you have it. Whether or not Drake writes his own lyrics or not, Calipari and Kentucky are going to side with him. More importantly, has Calipari been living under a rock that he doesn’t know what a rap beef is?
Either way, Calipari’s words are wind at this point, as it’s pretty clear that Drake won the feud after a week of trading barbs and diss tracks with Meek Mill. Now, he can get back to making music and supporting the team when called upon.
