Every college football fan wants the chance to stand in the middle of their favorite team’s field. Every Florida State fan wants to ride out and spike the spear. Every Notre Dame fan wants to slap the sign on the way onto the stadium. Even every Tennessee fan wants to run across the “T” at midfield.
While they may never get the chance to do any of those on the actual field, one Volunteer fan has done a good job to recreate the stadium in Knoxville in his own backyard.
College Spun shared a photo of a replica of Neyland Stadium that Tennessee fan Mark Whitehead recreated in his backyard for his son’s birthday party. While there may not be 100,000 screaming fans surrounding the field, it is sure to make any football fan jealous.

The Volunteers open the season on September 5 when they host Bowling Green at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
