The Miami Hurricanes are heading into the 2015 college football season with high expectations, and are hoping to get themselves back into contention. It has been awhile since they have been considered a legitimate contender to make a big bowl, but they strongly believe that the college playoffs are a big possibility for them.

Now that the season is just under a month away, the Hurricanes took to Twitter to post a video of their entire football team being excited about the upcoming season and celebrating as a team. Take a look at the video yourself, and if you’re a Canes fan enjoy it!

There are quite a few reasons for the fans and players to be excited about Miami football this season. They may have lost some good players to the 2015 NFL Draft, but they are still completely swamped with big talent. Brad Kaaya is one of the most exciting players on the roster, and there is no question that he is headed for superstar status during the upcoming season.

Looking ahead at the season, they likely aren’t going to be contending for a championship this year, but a fairly large bowl game is more than attainable.

They still have a few areas that they have to build their roster in order to get back to dominance. That being said, they are well on their way to getting back to that point. Patience has been paying off, and they will take a big step forward in the rebuilding process of getting the Hurricanes back to the top.

Everything starts on September 5th at home against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. That game should be a massive blowout in Miami’s favor, and they should explode out of the gates to a quick start. It will be interesting to see what kind of record they end the season with, but it will definitely be better than the 6-7 record that they posted last year.
