Baylor’s KD Cannon misses practice with hip flexor injury

The Baylor Bears were without one of their biggest weapons on Saturday, when star wide receiver KD Cannon was held out of practice. According to John Werner of the Waco Tribune-Herald, Cannon was held out of the practice session with a hip flexor injury.

There is no word on a timetable for his exact return.

Last season, Cannon hauled in 58 catches for 1,030 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Cannon is expected to once again be a huge part of the Baylor offense, as the team looks to prove themselves as a legitimate contender for the COllege Football Playoff once again.
