Video: Get to know Pitt running back James Conner

Pittsburgh Panthers star running back James Conner is one of the most productive and feared ball carriers in the nation.

This year, the reigning ACC Player of the Year is hoping to build off of a strong 2014 campaign that finished with 1,765 rushing yards and an impressive 26 touchdowns.

If Conner can repeat that success, he could very well find himself in position to forgo his final year of college eligibility to become a high pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

As the All-American running back prepares for the upcoming season, the folks at the ACC Digital Network took the time to produce a short feature video that highlights one of the nation’s most feared offensive weapons.

In the video, Conner talks about his high school transition from the defensive line to running back and the impact his success has on his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania.
