Sam Dekker, Justise Winslow mock no-call on Instagram

Anyone who watched this year’s NCAA Tournament final between the Wisconsin Badgers and Duke Blue Devils remembers the controversial call when, late in the game with the Badgers trailing and poised to make a run, referees infamously ruled the ball out of bounds on Wisconsin despite video evidence appearing to show Duke wing Justise Winslow as the last man to have touched it.

Fast forward to today, with all NBA rookies including Winslow at the league’s Rookie Transition Program this week, and it appears that everyone is laughing about it. Though his team lost the game 68-63, former Wisconsin star Sam Dekker posted a picture on his Instagram of himself, Winslow and former Blue Devils point man Tyus Jones mocking the supposed no-call.

It just goes to show that once enough time has passed and most parties involved have graduated to the next level, all that one can really do is shake off the hurt and then laugh about it. Once these three players have to face off against each other this season, it’ll be interesting to see if any old frustrations are awakened!
