The Georgia Bulldogs announced a billboard campaign Tuesday, looking to drum up some excitement before their season opener on September 5 against the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

The official release reads as follows:

“With football season right around the corner, fans in the Atlanta and Athens area will begin to notice some familiar faces popping up on the digital billboards. Over the next several months, Bulldog Nation will see rotating graphics of their favorite players on 44 digital faces throughout Atlanta and Athens.”

The billboard campaign started with star sophomore running back Nick Chubb, the unequivocal offensive leader of the Bulldogs. Chubb had an extraordinary freshman season, rushing for 1,547 yards on the ground (17th in the nation), 16 TDs (24th), all with a 7.1 yards/carry average (13th).

While Chubb has his eyes on the Heisman this year, all of the eyes in Georgia will be on Chubb.
