Video: Mizzou o-lineman lead team in Macarena

Throwback Thursday came a day early this week when earlier this morning, the Missouri Tigers offensive linemen led the team in the infamous Macarena dance…in full uniform!

The song and dance, by Spanish pop group Los Del Rio, was a staple of the ’90s, being played everywhere from the radio to sporting events to weddings to bar mitzvahs to sweet sixteens, and the ridiculous moves that went along with the dance took the world by storm.

That said, while watching random people do the Macarena is entertaining in itself, watching a bunch of giant football players do it in full uniform and not completely covered adds even more hilarity. Fortunately, Mizzou’s Instagram has a short video clip of the dance going down.

There is your daily dose of funny, ladies and gentlemen. You may now go about your day.

Missouri opens the season at home against the OVC’s Southeast Missouri State Redhawks on September 5.
