Brian Kelly surprises Notre Dame walk-on with scholarship

This is going to be one of the best videos you see today.

On Thursday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish unveiled their brand new  “Shamrock Series” uniforms that they will be wearing when they face the Boston College Golden Eagles.

Modeling those uniforms was running back Josh Anderson, who was a walk-on.

During the reveal of the new uniforms, Notre Dame head coach turned to Anderson and awarded the 5-foot-9, 205-pound senior a scholarship for his final year.

It was a great moment and a well-deserved honor.

As you can see from his teammates’ reactions, Anderson is loved in the locker room and his teammates couldn’t be happier for him.
