The leg injury to Tennessee wide receiver Marquez North that was once thought to be season-ending may now be the exact opposite. Per Knoxville radio host Jimmy Hyams, of WNML, North’s injury may not be as serious as was originally feared.

Vols fans, coaches and players alike can now breathe a sigh of relief, as North can now likely look forward to another productive season. In two years with the team, 21 games total, he has 68 receptions for 816 yards and five touchdowns. With great size at 6-foot-4, 221 pounds, it’s looking like the former four-star recruit out of Charlotte’s Mallard Creek High School won’t have to worry about missing extended time in 2015.
Hopefully, he can be back on the field in time for Tennessee’s season opener against Bowling Green on September 5.
