Duke’s Grayson Allen prepares for sophomore season

Grayson Allen made a name for himself with an impressive freshman season for the Duke Blue Devils last season, and was a huge part of them winning the National Championship over the Wisconsin Badgers. There are incredibly high expectations for him heading into the 2015-16 season, and there is an awesome video showing his preparation for the season. It is obvious that he wants to break out with a huge season, and barring injury that is what he will do.

During the 2014-15 season with the Blue Devils, Allen ended up averaging 4.4 points and 1.0 rebounds per game before going off for 16 in a clutch performance against Wisconsin. He had a lot of work to do in order to come back and put up consistent production every single night, and that’s what he did.

There are quite a few reasons for fans to get excited about Allen for the upcoming season. He is a hard worker with a great attitude, and he is the type of team player that had no problem coming off the bench last season. Allen simply wants to win, and that is what will take this young man to the next level.
