Former Baylor LB trolls TCU grad waitress with funny tip

The Baylor Bears and TCU Horned Frogs were co-champions of the Big 12 in 2014. While both teams just missed getting into the College Football Playoff, there was much controversy surrounding who won the conference. The Bears have a claim to the title because they beat TCU in a head-to-head match-up 61-58.

According to College Spun, former Baylor linebacker Eddie Lackey decided he would have a little fun with his waitress at a restaurant in Fort Worth. His waitress? A TCU graduate who was more than likely in attendance for last year’s game.

You may be asking yourself “How does a Baylor linebacker troll a waitress?” Well, he had a little fun with her by leaving a tip that was a reference to last year’s final score.

I understand that the tip was meant to be a joke, but what in the world did you actually buy that constituted for leaving such a large tip? I’m all for tipping servers well, but that is way more than twenty percent.

At least we know Lackey is a good dude and doesn’t stiff his waitress. I’m also glad that the two have a good sense of humor about the whole thing.

I can bet the waitress is happy the final score wasn’t 7-3 last year. The two teams play on November 27 in Fort Worth.
