4-star WR Stephen Sullivan decommits from LSU

The LSU Tigers were looking to have a pretty impressive 2016 recruiting class next season. However, the team was lacking in the wide receiver department as they only had three commits at the position. They are now down one as a big piece of the recruiting class has decided to keep his options open.

According to College Spun, four-star wide receiver Stephen Sullivan has decommitted from LSU. The receiver announced his decision late Sunday night via Twitter.

I can understand where Sullivan is coming from in getting too excited too fast. The kid, at the time, only had one offer and he took the chance to jump on it. Clemson is the only other team with an offer on the table for Sullivan and he is sure to get more offers as the season rolls on.

Sullivan is from Donaldsonville, Louisiana and is an astounding six-foot-six, 220 pound guy. He is currently ranked as the twelfth wide receiver in the country and the eighth overall player in the state of Louisiana.
