Jalek Felton is one of the top prospects in the entire 2017 college basketball recruiting class, and at this point in time it appears he will take his talents to the North Carolina Tar Heels. He has the potential to become something very special at the next level, and there is no denying the fact that hard work could get him to the point of being an intriguing NBA prospect.
During the 2014 season at Mullins High School in Mullins, North Carolina, Felton put up massive numbers to prove he was a legitimate five-star prospect. He ended up scoring 28.8 points per game, while also averaging 6.6 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game. Those numbers are without question impressive for a sophomore, and the Tar Heels couldn’t be more excited to have him join their program.
Every single summer, these star prospects play in places where they can grab attention from scouts and coaches. Felton played in quite a few different games and tournaments, and quite a few highlights were made.
Check out the summer mixtape that has been put together of him, and see what the next face of the Tar Heels basketball program could look like.
