Joanna Jedrzejczyk draws UFC 195 co-main event slot

On Friday morning, it was announced that a UFC women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Ronda Rousey and undefeated challenger Holly Holm was announced.

Now, just a few hours later, a co-main event bout has been added to the card which will be held on Jan. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

According to Los Angeles Times reporter Lance Pugmire, the strawweight title will also be on the line.

The current plan is for strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk facing Claudia Gadelha for a highly-anticipated rematch of their close three-round war that took place in December of last year.

Jedrzejczyk used that win over Gadelha in her first bout to earn her shot at the title which she eventually won. Gadelha, meanwhile, was able to rebound from her loss to Jedrzejczyk by scoring a big win over Jessica Aguilar earlier this year.
