The Florida Gators are beginning a new era heading into the 2015 college football season, with Jim McElwain taking over as head coach job. McElwain will make some changes to better fit his system, but the tradition of Gators’ football will live on.
On paper, the Gators look to be a team that could compete in the SEC for a bowl game. They finished 7-5 last season, but the talent that they had should have given them a much better record than that.
Coaching is an extremely underrated aspect of football and making that change alone should help the Gators be a much tougher team to beat this season.
As the season continues to draw closer, the Gators are trying to draw as much excitement ot their program as possible. They released a new hype video titled “Heart” to give the fans even more to get pumped up about.
Check out the video to see what all the hype is about.
McElwain and his Gators will open up the season on September 5th against the New Mexico State Aggies.
