Charges dropped against Colorado State’s Gian Clavell

Monday evening, Matt L. Stephens of The Coloradoan, reported criminal charges against Colorado State men’s basketball player, Gian Clavell, had been dropped.

On July 16th, Clavell was arrested for “alleged harassment and false imprisonment, with a domestic violence enhancement” for an argument with his girlfriend, Stephanie Bess, outside of Aylesworth Hall. Campus police reported yelling and that Clavell grabbed Bess’ arm.

Following the arrest, CSU head coach, Larry Eustachy, suspended Clavell from the team. He has just confirmed to Stephens that the guard has been reinstated and has returned to team activities.

Clavell is the top returning scorer for the Rams, averaging 9.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
