Former pitcher and ESPN Baseball analyst Curt Schilling post and deletes tweet that seemingly compares Muslims to Nazis.

Curt Schilling under fire for offensive Muslim Meme

Former pitcher and ESPN Baseball analyst Curt Schilling is catching heat for a tweet that seemingly compares Muslims to Nazis.

Schilling, a known political conservative, tweeted Tuesday a meme of Adolf Hitler stating “It’s said only 5-10 percent of Muslims are Extremists. In 1940, only 7 percent of Germans were Nazis. How’d that go?”

According to the New York Daily News, Schilling also wrote above the post “The math is staggering when you get to true #’s”

The tweet was quickly deleted but that didn’t stop news of his actions from quickly spreading.

Of course, nothing disappears on the internet.

The response has been mostly ridicule.

So, I guess if you're looking for a job at ESPN, Curt Schilling's might be available pretty soon.

Probably one of the sternest responses posted and then deleted came from a Twitter user who replied “I have no respect left for Curt Schilling after seeing this. Comparing Muslims to Nazis is so far over the line.”
