While there are plenty of people who expect the Georgia Bulldogs to run through the SEC East, there are some college football analysts in Bristol, Connecticut who are going with the underdog.
It wasn’t too long ago that ESPN’s Jesse Palmer predicted the Tennessee Volunteers would win the SEC East during an appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show, and now one of his colleagues is joining the party.
A fan on Twitter asked ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit, “What are your thoughts on The Tennessee Volunteers this season?”
Taking the time to respond, Herbstreit predicted that it will be the Vols who represent their division in the SEC Championship game later this year.

It isn’t entirely surprising that some analysts are going with the Vols. After all, you can’t have everyone making the same pick.
Whether Tennessee is able to claim the division over Georgia will be something we have to wait to find out, but it is clear that the Vols are making some huge, positive strides in the eyes of the experts.
