It’s no secret that LSU coach Les Miles has a place in his heart for Michigan and their football team. His name has been thrown around every time there is a head coaching vacancy in Ann Arbor, mostly because he is an alumnus and coached under legendary Michigan coach Bo Schembechler for eight seasons. I’m sure his name will be a big one thrown around if Jim Harbaugh is out before Miles decides to hang up the whistle forever
According to College Spun, Miles has been showing his report for Michigan and Harbaugh ever since the move was made in late 2014. On Wednesday night, he expressed his support publicly, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger.
Miles: "I'm for Jim (Harbaugh). I'm for Michigan. I promise you." #LSU

So I can assume every time his alma mater takes the field against an SEC opponent, he is cheering for the Wolverines. That might put him in an odd position if the Tigers ever schedule the Wolverines for a non-conference game.
That is something I would love to see. Actually, the two teams playing in the College Football Playoff would be even better.
