Boom shakalaka! That is what we will pretend was going through the head of Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna big man Dexter Pittman when he threw down a thunderous jam against the Stanford Cardinal that shattered the backboard.
As a result of Pittman’s force, play had to be suspended.

Cardinal officials say that the teams were forced to travel 15 minutes down the road to finish the game following the backboard incident.
Stanford is currently participating in a tour over in Italy.
They were able to upend Bologna and will be looking for a similar result when they face Fileni BPA Jesi this weekend.
