4-star RB Robert Washington de-commits from Syracuse

Class of 2016 four-star running back Robert Washington, out of South Carolina’s Mountain Island Charter School, near Charleston, has de-committed from Syracuse. Mike McAllister of Scout.com reported Washington’s decision on Twitter.

On top of Syracuse, Washington had also drawn interest from a number of schools including Alabama, Nebraska, Michigan, UCLA and Penn State, among many others.

Washington himself has not commented on his decision to de-commit, and thus has not given any indication on where he may be headed. Should he decide to re-commit to Syracuse, word on the street is he will wear the legendary No. 44.

Of course, Campus Sports will update Washington’s story as any new information becomes available.
