Blake Barnett runs smack into Derrick Henry, survives

One Alabama Crimson Tide player that has been getting a lot of offseason attention is junior running back Derrick Henry, who is built like a bulldozer at 6-foot-3, 242 pounds.

And then there is freshman quarterback Blake Barnett, no slouch himself at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, but that doesn’t make him any less human. Thanks to a video of an Alabama practice that local radio host and Alabama phD student Ryan C. Fowler posted on Twitter, fans can now get an idea of how strong Henry really is.

If any SEC defensive players have seen this video, they are probably officially worried about the day that their respective teams have to play Alabama. Henry has run for 1,372 yards and 14 touchdowns in two seasons in Tuscaloosa, and is primed for a breakout season in 2015.

When Alabama opens the season against Wisconsin in Dallas on September 5, look for Henry to kick into overdrive.
